The State Fire Service of Poland is one of the basic elements of building an efficient civil service that responds quickly to threats. Firefighters always have a lot of work. In May 2024, the media reported violent fires in the hall at the Marywilska street in Warsaw or in the attic of the school in Grodzisk Mazowiecki, during the final exams there. More garbage dumps and dozens of hectares of forests were on fire, with litter moisture dropping below 12-14% in many regions in mid-month.
