CENZIN changes its operating philosophy – returning to exports with a focus on technology and know-how

CENZIN changes its operating philosophy – returning to exports with a focus on technology and know-how

For years, CENZIN was a Polish company associated primarily with the trade in armaments and spare parts. Today, CENZIN, a company within Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa (PGZ), intends to redefine its role by focusing on technology exports, know-how transfer and rebuilding its position in foreign markets. This follows a profound strategic shift after the political turbulence of recent years, which had brought the share of exports in the company’s business down to just 2% in 2023. That figure has now risen to approximately 40%, with a target of 50% and, in the longer term, as much as 80% of the company’s business coming from exports.

Missiles, drones, anti-drones and laser weapons – Rafael offers Europe its combat arsenal

Israel is a world leader in developing advanced military technologies, particularly in the areas of artificial intelligence, autonomous systems, air defense, and laser technology. A key advantage of the Israeli defense sector remains the rapid implementation of solutions developed based on operational experience and their ongoing verification in combat conditions. One of the most important players in this sector is Rafael Advanced Defense Systems, which presented its latest weapons systems and defense solutions in Europe at the Farnborough Airshow 2026 in July. The company emphasized not only the technological maturity and operational experience but also the ability to scale up production and deliveries in a relatively short time.

Poland and South Korea – a strategic armoured, artillery, and ammunition-sovereignty partnership for Europe?

Poland and South Korea – a strategic armoured, artillery, and ammunition-sovereignty partnership for Europe?

Poland is building one of the most impressive armed forces in Europe, and cooperation with South Korea has played a significant role in this process for several years. The contracts concluded include, among other things, the delivery of 48 FA-50 aircraft, a total of 1,000 K2 tanks, more than 600 K9 self-propelled howitzers, and approximately 288 K239 Chunmoo multiple rocket launchers (Homar-K). However, with such a rapidly growing arsenal, must Poland not also ensure a sufficient quantity of ammunition? Could one of the outcomes of the April visit of the Polish government delegation to South Korea also be the securing of cooperation in the production and supply of large-calibre and rocket ammunition?

From Viking programme to A26 submarine for the Polish Navy – how to wisely build security in the Baltic Sea and the Arctic?

From Viking programme to A26 submarine for the Polish Navy – how to wisely build security in the Baltic Sea and the Arctic?

The echoes of the dispute over Greenland, which culminated at the 56th World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, are still silent, and the security issues of the Arctic – including Greenland, Iceland, Scandinavia and the Baltic – seem to be increasingly important. In this context, the outcome of the ORKA programme and the selection of the Swedish offer of the new generation A26 submarine for the Polish Navy opens a new chapter in the construction of Polish’s underwater capabilities and in Polish-Swedish defence cooperation. This decision comes at a time of rapid growing importance of the Baltic Sea and the Arctic as key areas of strategic rivalry – not only between NATO and Russia and China, but also within NATO – between the United States of America and the European part of the North Atlantic Alliance supported by Canada.
